The Scientifically Speaking Life Sciences Career Pathway Program is a unique initiative designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and resources to excel in the life sciences sector.

Spring 2025 Cohort -Applications open NOW!

The Scientifically Speaking Life Sciences Career Pathway Program is designed to be both engaging and flexible, requiring a total commitment of 8 hours (blended learning approach) per week over a 6-week period, with the first cohort starting on the 20th January 2025.


To gain the accreditation, participants must attend all components of the program—both online and in-person sessions.

This program is committed to fostering diversity and inclusivity in the life sciences sector and encourages participation from underrepresented groups. We are particularly keen to receive applications from 

  • Women,

  • Black, Asian, and multi-ethnic residents,

  • Individuals aged over 50.

​This program is tailored to cater to two distinct cohorts

  • Professionals

    • Designed for individuals who support or intend to support the career development of those interested in life sciences careers. This includes career advisors, educators, and mentors in life sciences and non-life sciences sectors.

  • Students

    •  Targeted at individuals seeking to explore or advance their careers with no prior knowledge of the life sciences sector, including those pursuing accreditation for career change or general career advancement.

This program is free for Lambeth residents thanks to the Lambeth Council Health and Life Sciences Community Innovation Fund. Also funded/part-funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
